The book includes an experimental investigation for aerodynamic drag reduction over a car by flow control using vortex generator and spoiler. In general, the rear part of the car contributes 80 % of the total aerodynamic drag. Rear spoilers and vortex generator delay the flow separation for decreasing drag. This book provides a basic understanding of the experimental methods used traditionally for the drag reduction study. The book cover passive ways used for the drag reduction in an automobile.

The author has more than fifteen years of research and teaching experience. The author has published more than 65 articles including 19 articles in SCI Journals and 11 articles in ESCI/Scopus Indexed Journals. The author has guided twenty-four Master's theses and more the fifty graduate theses on the Composite Materials, and Aerodynamics.
