African women and social change

The book Femmes africaines is part of a reflection on the role of African women, and Congolese women in particular, in social change and the development of their society. The author highlights the challenges they face, including gender inequality, cultural constraints, and limited access to education and economic opportunities. African women play a central role in social change across the continent. Historically the guardians of traditions and pillars of the family, today they are key players in development.Femmes Africaines is both a wake-up call and a message of hope, aimed at sparking a collective awakening, and reinforcing women's contribution to the integral development of the Congo and Central Africa.
