Agadez, under the waters of the Telwa

By addressing the story of the 2009 floods in Agadez, the book highlights the special character of that year for Niger with political and security events that had a strong impact on the international scene. As a prologue, it provides explanations on the geography of the city, on the emergence of economic flows and social phenomena producing events that have marked the history of this once peaceful city that has maintained its status bequeathed by history as an important commercial crossroads at the intersection of trans-Saharan routes. It relates political events for the purpose of highlighting the pitfalls that undermine the path of access to the governance of the state for the rising generation.

El autor de este libro es ingeniero informático y tiene un doctorado en Redes y Telecomunicaciones por el INP de Toulouse. También tiene un máster del IEP de Toulouse, con una especialización en Sociología Política de los Procesos de Gobierno. Actualmente es profesor-investigador en la Universidad AM de Niamey y autor de varios libros.
