The present books is about the elderly people who is currently leading their later years of life in old age institutions. The work has been carried out in twin cities of Andhra Pradesh i.e. Hyderabad and Secunderabad where many IT industries development is taking place. This work carried from a anthropological and social exclusion point of view. Hence the book talk more about the facilities in old age homes for the elders. the behavior of the care staff and fellow inmates towards the elders who are residing in old age homes. it concentrates mainly on social support networks of the elderly absence of which leads to depression as a result of which the elder people more prone various types of health problems.
