Agricultural Research Centers have played a significant role in planning, conducting and disseminating research. The mission of Agricultural Research Centers is the development of new and low cost technology for food security and enhancing the living standards of farming community. The research scientists can not function without an appropriate environment to conduct high quality research. It is mandatory to establish and maintain a research enviornment which provides maximum facilities, highly skilled human resources and equipments to facilitate research. The contents of this book are to give a broad overview for palnning, designing and operation of Agricultural Research Centers.

Dr. M. Shafi is Professor of Agronomy in KPK Agricultural Uiversity Pakistan. The author has published four books and more than hundred research papers. He has supervised 20 M.Sc and 3 PhD scholars. Dr. Jehan Bakht is Professor of biotechnoloogy in the same University. He has supervised 30 M.Phil and 3 PhD scholars and has published 5 books.
