Alas. Life is a Story - story.one

Once, a long time ago, I loved. I was young and without any sorrow. That is where I saw him first. He was smaller than one would think about a prince of the mighty kingdom of Sparta. His dark skin shone golden in the sun, every time it laid its rays upon him. The dark hair flew freely in the loving morning wind, which danced with his curls as he laughed. I came to love him dearly.But love is no thing, that would ever come to one without a price. He was the price I had to pay for our time spent together. I thought I could trick the fates and have him for me and for me alone. But no one can trick fate. Not even me. Not even the god Apollo.

Hi, I am Elli, a 22 year old hobby writer and I am way to obsessed with greek mythology. So I decided to finally get this story done. It took me at last, less time to write it down than I first though. But well. I started writing poems in elementary school, my first real story came at age 14 or 15 and I was obsessed. From this day forward I did not stop, at thinking about new stories but I needed to write them down. Preferably during lessons. I also tried writing song lyrics and, may I say, I wrote some pretty good ones. So I hope, that now, you enjoy/ did enjoy my first ever fully finished story about my two favorite lovebirds.
