All the Ways We Almost Knew Each Other. Life is a Story - story.one
Details
All the Ways We Almost Knew Each Other is a quiet, poetic novel about two boys who keep crossing paths in Oxford without ever speaking. From a bench at Merton College, where they meet as strangers, to short episodes in markets, pubs, and lecture halls, their lives echo each other's. Always near, never quite touching. As time passes, their silent bond deepens, offering a quiet refuge as grief begins to seep into their lives. Amid the timeless charm of Oxfords streets, spires, and hidden corners, the novel unfolds into a luminous meditation on human connection, the unspoken intimacy between strangers, and the invisible threads that bind us to others and to ourselves.
Autorentext
Hannah Becker is a writer, poet, ardent lover of words and the worlds they unveil. She is a first-year literature student and choral scholar at The Queens College in Oxford, a city she vividly brings to life in her debut novel All the Ways We Almost Knew Each Other. Born in Germany in 2005, she currently lives in two worlds at once, travelling between Oxford and her hometown of Mönchengladbach each term. When she is not reading or writing, she can be found dreaming big, romanticising her life, enjoying movie nights, laughing loudly, and singing her heart out.
