Alternate Financing for Startup Businesses

This book, takes a closer look at alternate financial options such Crowdfunding, Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Islamic Finance, Venture Capital, Angel Finance etc. that could be available for startup businesses to raise the needed startup capital for their business ventures since they have challenges raising startup capital from the more traditional sources like the banks. This is because access to capital and funding gaps are threatening the formation and operations of startup businesses across the globe. Due to these financial constraints, they lack the financial capacity to sustain their activities because they lack adequate funding stream to support the early-stage developments of their businesses. To address this challenge, there is therefore the need for them to look for other alternative funding streams to overcome these financial gaps.
