Alternative Fuels and Hydrogen Issues in Vehicles

This book is intended for students in technology classes and for undergraduate and graduate students. It is a teaching aid for studying the challenges of using alternative fuels and hydrogen in vehicle combustion engines. The aim of the book is to focus on the current problems of fossil fuel use and the future of alternative fuels.First, the details of conventional and alternative fuels are illustrated. Then the technology of internal combustion engines is presented in a simplified and clear way. Finally, the techniques for using alternative gases in engines are identified.

Mohamed Ali Jemni obtained his university habilitation in 2021 at the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS). He taught in the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax (FSS) during 2011-2014 as a university assistant. He is a Master Assistant at FSS since 2014.
