An Analysis of Financial Performance of Scheduled Commercial Banks

The book is about analyzing the financial performance of banks. First Chapter deals with the concept, Importance, significance aspects of banks, and the Banking system. It describes Introduction to the banking industry, Evolution of the banking sector in India, the basic concept behind construction of banks in India, and also deals with the phases of Indian Banking namely: Pre-Nationalization Era, Nationalization Stages, and Post- Liberalization Stages. The second chapter deals with the source of information for the financial performance appraisal of public and private sector banks. and the Journals, Research material, Articles, Reviews for the research work. The aim of the book is to study the impact of various external and internal factors on Financial Performance and to access the level of Financial Performance with reference to stakeholders. The fourth chapter is related to the Research Methodology used for the analysis of data Fifth Chapter deals with the hypothesis testing of the research work and analysis of data through the Kruskal- Wallis Test. The sixth chapter is concerned with the finding and conclusion.
