AN ANALYSIS OF THE LABOUR PROCESS THEORY

The Present book analyses the contribution of various thinkers on the labour process theory. The main focus is on the contribution of Karl Marx and Braverman on the labor process in the capitalist society. Labour Process refers to the connection between labour and their work. The basic action of labour process is changing raw material into useful goods through human labour with given tools or technology which fulfils a human need. The study of labour process offers a singular and influential version of how work is organized in capitalist societies. The primary thought of the labour process theory is the degradation of work in modern capitalistic societies.
