An Analysis on the Causes of Road Accidents in Ernakulam District

Road accidents are more frequent these days, which ultimately results in the loss of many lives each year. Some victims are affected many disabilities and they are suffering throughout their life. Road traffic accidents are the top most causes of death among youngsters. They are the main victims of the accidents especially adolescents age groups and it will be a global burden in the coming years. Majority of the youth are addicted in drugs and alcohol. Moreover, their poor traffic sense, lack of awareness and knowledge on traffic rules, their tendency to take adventures and show off etc., are the significant causes existing among teenagers.
