An approach to Discourse Analysis

This book comes as a simplified but critical approach to the study of Discourse Analysis to university students. It is written from the experience of teaching university students for several years. The complexities in digesting the meaning of texts from the given contexts is well taken care of. Examples and elaborations that have been used herein are taken from the daily usage of the language in different social settings. It is the expectation of the writer that this book will save in the communicative purpose of the language in daily use.

Ildephonce Mkama is een junior geleerde op het gebied van gesproken en gesigneerde talen. Hij behaalde zijn BA (Ed) en MA (Linguistics) aan de St. Augustine University of Tanzania tussen 2009 en 2013. Sinds 2013 werkt hij samen met Aartsbisschop Mihayo University College en momenteel promoveert hij op Dove Communicatie aan de Wits University Johannesburg-Zuid-Afrika.
