An assessment of road and drainage integration in shire-town, Tigray

With increasing trend of urbanization, provision of adequate urban storm water drainage facilities plays great role in maintaining community safety and municipal asset from flood hazard. However, evidences reveal that most towns, secondary towns in particular, in developing countries are insufficiently equipped with urban storm water drainage facilities. This book, therefore, provides responsible municipal authorities with clear, comprehensive, relevant and timely framework to design an effective mechanism to alleviate the problem of urban flooding and thereby maintain households and municipal assets.

BiographyAmaha Kiros is a lecturer in the department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Madawalabu University. He has a considerable experience in teaching at higher education institution.
