The book describes the concept of business organisation, general definition of risk in a business context, and different types of risk and especially financial risk. It depicts different internal and external factors affecting the financial risk management, the opportunities created and utilised as part of risk taking activity and different strategies for financial risk management. The book also contains case study of a startup company explaining their financial risk management policies strictly connected to selection of rightly skilled employees, performance evaluation and compensation mechanism, initial funding challenges, back up plan or contingency plan to meet any unexpected financial risk event when there is a economic crisis etc.
