An end-of-course assignment - Geology

A study that proposes the geological and petrographic characterization of the volcanic rocks of the Surumu Group and plutonic rocks of the Pedra Pintada Suite, located in the northern region of the State of Roraima. These units are gathered in the Orocaima Episode, as a volcano-plutonic event, considered as comagmatic rocks with calci-alkaline affinity.In general, this work contributes to the geoscientific knowledge of the northern portion of the Amazon Craton, providing relevant information at a scale of 1:20,000.
