An Evaluation of Financial Performance Of The Saptagiri Grameena Bank

The book presents the financial performance of Sri Saptagiri Grameena bank after merger during 2006. The study is presented in 7 chapters. The first chapter deals with an overview of RRB's in India. The second chapter contains review of literature and research design and methodology. The third and fourth chapters provide profile of the bank and mobilisation of deposits and credit operations sequentially. The financial performance is analysed in the fifth chapter while non -performing assets are evaluated in the sixth chapter. The last chapter presents the summary of findings of the present enquiry and incorporates suggestions to increase financial profitability of the Saptagiri Grameena Bank (SGB) and contain and reduce the magnitude of the non - performing assets (NPAs).

Dr. PADMAVATHI AGARWAL did postgraduation and Ph.D courses in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati during 2004 and 2010 respectively. She has published twelve research based articles in reputed journals and attended several conferences/seminars/workshops. Presently she is a UGC Post Doctoral Fellow. Prof. B.BHAGAVAN REDDY is presently Principal.
