An Evaluation of the Citizen Contractor Empowerment Development Policy

Citizen Contractor development in developing countries is very fundamental because it empowers citizens to have meaningful participation in the development of their country which in turn creates jobs for skilled and semi-skilled labour. The citizen contractor development has long term socio-economic benefit to the Country. The country is presently experiencing an escalation of unemployment especially among youths. Therefore developing youths in construction sector will alleviate/reduce unemployment in a long term, the skills can be exported to other countries and thus computing the Global construction arena.
