An Exegetical Study Of Matt 19:16-30 In The Light Of Eternal Life

The quest for salvation, from the perspective of Christians, continues to agitate the hearts of people both ancient and modern. Currently, there are different conflicting interpretations of Matthew 19:16-30 in vogue. This work studied the original words (protos and eschatos) and their usage as an interpretive model. It further explored the meaning of the disciples choice as well as the place of the denarius in the quest for eternal life. How all of these issues affect the modern Christian is the most interesting part of the work.
