An exploration into conceptual transition

The title of this research study is: An exploration of the transition of chemistry concepts between secondary school and undergraduate BSc Chemistry studies in South Africa. This research study was intended to find out the conceptual gaps between high school chemistry and first year undergraduate BSc chemistry. This research study focused on the challenges faced by students in learning chemistry and it also focused on the challenges faced by teachers when teaching chemistry.

Born in Zimbabwe in 1969, attended primary school in Murewa at Chitepo primary school and high school at Seke 4 high school. Completed his Licenciate in Chemistry Education at Jose Varona Cuba. Did his Masters at North West university in South Africa and completed his Dr in Curriculum studies with university of South Africa.
