This slow pace current creates inefficiencies that increases mortality and morbidity rates. Africa's healthcare infrastructure, particularly information and process integration require optimization to match-up with other parts of the world. Nigeria; the most populous country on the continent with the highest GDP reflects healthcare issues across sub-Saharan African.
