An Introductory Research Report Format

ABOUT THE BOOK This introductory monograph discusses research report format. Its purpose is to introduce report format to students as well as researchers in various spheres of endeavors. Nowadays, research reports are written in diverse styles by different institutions and organizations across the globe. Nevertheless the pluralism, the book highlights the converging points of the diversity. In doing that, six chapters have been realized, viz. Types of Research, Preliminaries, Literature review and theoretical frame-work, Data presentation and Analysis, Research Methodology and Reference section.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Abdulwahab Muhammad, is a senior lecturer in General Linguistics in the department of Languages and Linguistics, University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. He obtained a Ph.D with specialization in Semantics at University of Maiduguri. He works in the area of Hausa and English and has several publications in Semantics.
