Life cycle assessment and cost analysis are considered to be of great importance to the organizations as international competition intensifies and continues to change in technology. The research underlines that rapid change in technology and shortened life cycles of products have made the life cycle assessment and cost analysis critical to each organization. Even though a considerable amount of study and benefits are achieved by various waste treatment processes, very few evidences could be gathered regarding the recycling and repairing of chairs, and its cost analysis.The study reviews facilities waste management in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), focusing on waste management of chairs.
