An OFDM System

In today's scenario there is need to transmit the information through wireless medium, quickly and accurately.Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), because of its resistance to multipath fading, has attracted increasing interest in recent years as a suitable modulation scheme for commercial high-speed broadband wireless communication systems.There are different parameters which alters the performance of OFDM system.This book presents the effect of different parameters such as number of subcarriers,modulation schemes etc,on OFDM system.

Dr Rashmi teaches at the Department of History, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. She has held fellowships from British Academy and Charles Wallace India Trust (UK). She has earned her doctorate from JNU (New Delhi) for her research on Madras and before moving to Hyderabad, she was teaching in a postgraduate college of Delhi University.
