An Optimization Solution For Using Minibuses Service in Malaysia

The recent increase in privately owned by the private sector in Hentian Kajang many of the problems: traffic congestion, fuel unnecessary loss and global warming are only a few of these problems. This study is an attempt to understand people's behavior and modal choice and try to influence them, and public transport.A survey was conducted to develop a choice between private cars and minibuses and trains users in the Hentian Kajang. Have been distributed a total of 30 surveys over a month. Among the data collected were demographic details such as age, sex, educational level and the distance residential located characteristics of the trip, Mode of transport to work and travel behavior of each user mode. The data was processed by SPSS software to determine which factors encourages and discourages using private, public transportation use of minibuses.According to the sensitivity analysis Travel time (0.48), travel cost reduction (0.567),Improving Suitable Waiting time (0.533)and Improving Distance for the Located (0.102) reduction of minibus is main element on making people considering using the public transport instead of private car

He received the BSc. in Physical Science from Al-Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad, IRAQ, in 1986, and (MSc. and PhD.) in Laser and Optoelectronics Science from School of Applied Science at University of Technology, in (1997 and 2007) respectively. His research articles include the test and develop the Nano thin films for chemical and piezosensors.
