The nanoparticles exhibit enhanced physical properties due to aggregation phenomenon. The intense enhanced fluorescence of organic nanoparticles is of immense importance for the applications in fluorescent nanosensor, optical devices, nanomedicine, bioimaging and drug delivery. Therefore, the fluorescence of organic materials and the characteristic features related to structure of molecule, electronic configuration and environment has been reviewed in this book.
