Building Finance vis-à-vis Office and Retail Space Constraints in the City Centre of Harare: A Study of Stakeholders Experiences and Perceptions. This is a piece of work that describes and gave a clear analysis of the status quo of the Zimbabwean Property Market soon after the introduction of the multi-currency system. It dwells much on the Commercial Office and Retail space provision and availability. It then went on to elaborate on the Stakeholders Experiences and Perceptions about the whole circus. The Stakeholders involved ranges from the Property Developers, Construction Companies, Banks as Financiers, the Government especially on Policy and Policy Reforms, and lastly but far from being least the Office and Retail Space Tenants as the consumers of the end product.Despite Harare being the economic harbor of this country, gone are the days when extensive investments and property development has been witnessed in Harare; cynical analysts used to say that there is no development outside Harare.Innocent questions like why there has not been any major commercial retail/office building construction in Harare CBD for the past decade have been addressed in this research.
