Continuous scaling in the technology feature size and hence the supply voltage, has directed analog designers to change the signal representation from the voltage domain to the current domain. Thus, recently high performance current - mode building blocks have received a great deal of interest, this also goes back to their potential over voltage - mode circuits in aspects such as: lower voltage supplies, lower power consumption, wider dynamic range and higher bandwidth. The objective of this work is to introduce a high performance CMOS analog blocks suitable for analog signal processing applications

Ahmed Soltan Ali was born in Cairo Egypt, on July 22, 1982. He received his M.Sc degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from CairoUniversity, Giza, Egypt in 2008. He is currently a Teaching Assistant in Fayoum University. His research interests are in current-mode signal processing, RF circuit design and fractional order circuits
