Optimizing Carbon balances will determine our
capacity for adaptation to Climate Change in the
following years. There will alwways be alternatives
for reaching a more sustainable development, but
some of them will be more costly than others.
Perhaps, we should redefine what costs really mean,
in order to develope analysis which lead us to find
effiency. This book intends to be a first and rough
approach to analyze feasibility of strategies for
adaptation within the Land Use and Land Use Changes
and Forestry (LULUCF).

After completing my Bachelor Studies of Forestry in Spain, I wentto Germany to carry out M.Sc. Studies in Tropical andInternational Forestry. I worked in Brazil, Laos and Spain,focusing on wildlife management, forest economics and forestrycarbon related issues. Nowadays I intend to know a bit more aboutalternative energies.
