Analysing Application Performance using SQL

Developing business applications requires solutions that meet the requirements of time, performance, economy, robustness, scalability and without compromising on quality. However, meeting all these requirements simultaneously has been a major challenge for development teams. Application performance deserves special attention, as users are increasingly demanding that applications run smoothly and as quickly as possible. Based on this approach, this book presents the process of creating a new methodology to optimise the payroll of a legacy system, using primarily the SQL language to get the best performance from the Database server.
