Analysis of Anti-Corruption Policies in Africa

This book analyses the effectiveness and constraints of specific methods and approaches of anti- corruption strategies in Africa. Nigeria and Ghana are country specific case studies. A great input to the anti-corruption discourse in Africa, it provides the reader with a clear understanding of the approaches and initiatives of anti-corruption efforts in the continent with regards to: (A) Facilitating anti-corruption interventions and, (B) Network building and information dissemination which is important for successful collaboration and co- ordination among key players in the project. This book presents a rational background and structure that is capable of explaining why Africa has remained a society hardly touched by the global trend of accountability and probity in Public Office. The analysis should promote constructive debate and help shed some light on the state of Anti-corruption efforts in Africa.
