Analysis of energy generation using an aeroderivative ethanol turbine

The purpose was to analyze the capacity of the Norte Fluminense region for planting sugar cane and producing ethanol for electricity generation or, in the case of surpluses, for export. The focus of this research is to highlight the importance of this region and introduce a pioneering technology in the world, which has developed a gas turbine that runs on dual fuel (flex). By aligning this new generation process, creating mechanisms for a more stable raw material in production, making ethanol the primary liquid fuel in Brazil and improving its transportation through pipelines, we can obtain a chain of interconnected suppliers, with the option of exporting surpluses, thus strengthening the industry and the fragile ethanol economy.
