Analysis of internal logistics in a shoe manufacturing company

In an increasingly competitive market, companies need to present a differential to stand out. Integrated logistics is a determining factor for this differential, as it helps to save time and adds value to the final product, thus being essential for any organisation, as it integrates the processes that are used in a production line from raw material to the final product. A poorly organised stock or inadequate storage of products can lead to devaluation of the material in addition to generating loss of money with its obsolescence. That is why companies have been adopting the method of working with zero stock, having only a safety stock for adverse situations at will. The strategies must be well defined for the processes to occur effectively. With the use of appropriate tools such as supply chain management, just in time or integrated logistics (linking all the processes involved within a company), results can be improved.
