It is objective is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and workshop technology to all the engineering students. Therefore, an effort of this book is to illustrate and present the historical and practical knowledge in process of machining in mechanisms of metal manufacturing. The book is written in very simple language so that even an average student can easily grasp the subject matter. Some comparisons the stress has been given on figures for better understanding of tools, equipment, machines and manufacturing setups used in various manufacturing shops. The whole text has been organized in eleven chapters and all the chapters in this text book can be illustrated with help of solved problems and neat sketches.
