Nowadays color images of objects are widely used in different scientific fields. There are many works related to the research of human skin color images for the color reproduction of color films and color television systems. Skin recognition becomes more popular topic to study. In the book the multispectral images of human skin for medical application are studied. The analysis of spectral images of skin using Independent component analysis is made. New methods for conversion of spectral images, which are studied by the ICA method, are obtained. Using the FastICA algorithm the independent components of skin are obtained, and some basic analysis of them is made.

Autorentext

I have finished a qymnasium in Aktau, South-West Kazakhstan. I have Master degrees in Applied Mathematics (Saint Petersburg State University, Russia) and Computer Science (University of Joensuu, Finland). Both of my degrees are used in the area of Biology and Medicine. Currently, I am a PhD student of University of Helsinki, Faculty of Medicine.
