Analysis of the representation of non-Europeans in the novels Lord Jim and Kim

This production aims to analyze the mutual contribution between History and Literature, as well as the representations of non-Europeans in the novels "Lord Jim" (1899 - 1900) and "Kim" (1901) by Joseph Conrad and Rudyard Kipling, respectively. It will also analyze the spaces of transculturation that exist in the works, thus highlighting the cultural exchanges during the contact of the "Age of Empires".
