Analysis & Optimization of Retractable Shield for Warfare Applications

The work presented in the book deals with design analysis and material selection for the retractable shield by considering the stress-induced and deformation under controlled conditions of the working environment. Weight and mobility of the shield are also considered as prime factors while carrying out the analysis. A comparison among different shield materials is carried out and the selection of suitable material is based on the basis of numerical analysis.
