A autora, Sra. Suman Kumari Joshi, nasceu a 17 de agosto de 1985 em Sundargarh, Orissa. Passou o BVSc & A.H. e o MVSc (Produção e Gestão Pecuária) no CVSc & A.H., OUAT, Bhubaneswar em 2011 e 2013, respetivamente. Obteve o grau de doutoramento no ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, em 2016, em Produção e Gestão Pecuária, com recurso ao DST.
