Ancestral Worship and African Christianity

Ancestral worship is one of the cultural facets practiced in African Traditional Religion that poses a challenge to African Christianity. The worship of ancestors has a long history in African Traditional Religion. This practice is a part of the peoples' culture and it does not have a written document as to its origin. It is an oral tradition, which passes from one generation to another by the elders. Ancestral worship is a hard nut to crack by the church, eternal salvation is not certain, the value of the tradition of the fathers and duo-religion practitioners. This book proffers a solution.
