Angel de Andrés was an award-winning theater actor and director in the 20th century in Spain. In 1938, after the Spanish Civil War broke out, young Angel had to work as a amateur actor in the street. In 1938, Andrés got some sporadic jobs as a galán cómico in the Salvador Videgain theater company. During the following years, he got some roles in theater companies such as the Isbert and María Guerrero theater companies. He had a company of theatre with Antonio Casal beginning a luck many years. It was there that he met actress Chity Juárez; they married in 1959 and remained together for the rest of Andrés's life. They had two children.
