Ann Flood (born November 12, 1934 in Jamaica, New York) is an American actress. She is most known for her work as journalist/author Nancy Pollock Karr on the soap opera The Edge of Night, a role she played from 1962 to 1984. She is also known for her Broadway roles and for various commercials, including those for Good Seasons salad dressing and for a purse. Shorter roles, mainly as society matrons, on Search for Tomorrow, Another World, and One Life to Live followed. For one year, she was under contract on ABC's All My Children as Bitsy Davidson. Before starting on The Edge of Night, she played another journalist, Elizabeth "Liz" Fraser Allen in the short-lived soap From These Roots.
