Annotation of Data Generated from Next Generation Sequencer

Today Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology facilitates accurate, easy and fast sequencing but genome sequencing provides raw data. Just a set of an order of nucleotide in an individual's DNA. However,it does not provide knowledge of what the data means or how to manage the data. The book represents basic structural and functional annotation pipeline for an eukaryote Bubalus bubalis (buffalo), which was one its own kind as it was internationally a first attempt of sequencing buffalo and it also focuses on basic aspect of data storage by designing a Database. The overview of method of database designing is represented using computing packages PHP and Mysql. The annotation pipeline suggested here can be utilized for any of the eukaryote with few required changes. This book is apt for beginner in NGS and Biological Database Designing.
