Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa is notoriously difficult to treat and no one approach has been shown to be more effective than another. The purpose of this work is to establish a protocol for health care professionals who work with female youth (13 18) who struggle with anorexia. This work will outline ways in which psycho-education, family therapy and mindfulness can be integrated in a holistic manner in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa.

Emily Anne Reskovich has a Bachelor's degree in women studies and has a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. She has a keen interest in working with the adolescent population and is particularly interested in expanding her knowledge of eating disorders. She currently works as a counsellor in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
