Anthony Deron Heygood (born April 3, 1986 in Chester, Pennsylvania) is an American football linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Purdue. Heywood attended Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield, Pennsylvania. He majored in health and fitness at Purdue. Heygood was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on January 6, 2010. He was later released by the team on July 29, 2010 only to be re-signed five days later on August 4. He was placed on injured reserve on August 6, 2010.
