ANTI-OXIDANT AND ANTI-MICROBIAL ACTIVITIES OF TERPENOIDS

The growing interest in natural sources of anti-microbial and antioxidants has prompted extensive research on plant-based compounds with potential health benefits. This systematic review aims to identify and evaluate plant species possessing terpenoids as chemical constituent's exhibit significant anti-microbial and antioxidant activity. The review employs a comprehensive search strategy to gather compare three medicinal plants Anthocephalus cadamba, Argemone mexicana and Syzygiumcumini that contain Terpenoids as one of their chemical constituents. Criteria for inclusion involve studies of plant extracts, Phytochemical screening and investing in anti-microbial and antioxidant activities.
