Antimicrobial activities sulphur nanoparticles on dandruff

Elemental sulfur is one of the oldest fungicides and pesticides. In our work we tried synthesizing sulphur nanoparticles in a synthetic surfactant base CTAB and/or CPBr of size within 60nm and study its effect on M. furfur along with natural plant extract of Reetha. In this way an organic, mild nanoparticles enhanced surfactant system can be developed for treatment of dandruff causing Malasezia strains of fungi. The study mainly focusing on synthesis and range of efficacy of this concoction.
