This book deals with the natural antioxidants and their properties.It mainly concenterated on the antioxidants in fruits. Fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidant compounds.Natural products such as phenolic- flavonoids and phenolic acids, carotenoids, vitamins are having antioxidant properties.These natural antixidant products show many biological and pharmacological activities including anti cancer, anti inflammatory , anti viral effects etc.This book mainly deals with the antioxidant properties and its pharmacological properties of an elaeocarpaceae fruit called Muntingia calabura (JAMAICA CHERRY).
