Antioxidant Potential of Medicinal Plants

Plants are used as folk recipes for the cure of various aliments. This book describes taxonomic investigations and antioxidant activity of selected medicinal plants of Pakistan which are selected for treatment of multidimensional diseases by using various taxonomic techniques i.e. morphology,anatomy and palynology that are helpful for identification of plants. Plants act as natural antioxidants and medicinally active parts of these plants are also used to evaluate the antioxidant potential which provides new development of medicine in future.

Madiha Ambreen did MSc(Botany)and M.Phil(Taxonomy)from reputed research institute Quaid-e-azam University,Islamabad in 2010 and 2012 respectively. She is a member of Botanical Society. Her two research papers has been published in International Journal. She is currently doing PhD from Government College,University Lahore Pakistan.
