Apophthegms of sages

After the study of "usual verbs in legal rhetoric", a book that was published on January 01, 2019 by European University Editions, our pen is now giving birth to another work, which we have kindly entitled "Apophthegms of sages". "Why the choice of this theme and what interest it offers to the community? This little work is full of proverbs, maxims and popular sentences, from wise men such as Confucius, Victor Hugo, Mariama BÂ, Bob Marley, Oscar Nsaman, etc., and from ourselves from our understanding of life, especially life in society; which play a considerable influence in the progress of the individual as well as of the human community, as well as in the management of private affairs as in the Res publica.The aforementioned apophthegms, to be understood as memorable words expressed in a concise and clear way, praise here the good sense, the measure and the wisdom roughly, to spread the instruction to the people. Our main method of approach is empirical, especially since we start from our life experience.

Baudouin LUKODI Matondo studied Latin-philosophy at the Minor Seminary of Laba, in the Territory of Idiofa, DRC. He graduated in Law from the University of Kinshasa and started his professional life as a lawyer at the Bar of Kinshasa/Gombe before becoming a magistrate. Currently, he is a Deputy Public Prosecutor.
