Application of fuzzy set theory in facilities layout planning

This book is based on the fuzzy application and Automated Layout Design Program & Computerized Relationship Planning to improve the layout process of facilities. The main objective of this book is to obtain the closeness rating values between each two facilities in the construction site. To achieve this objective, the fuzzy application and IF-THEN rules is used to investigate the layout of temporary facilities in relation with the building(s) to be built in a construction site. An example application is presented to illustrate the proposed approach and the results are then discussed.

He received his B.Sc and M.S degrees in mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.Now he is a faculty of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh.
